Agricola Bellaria has become a sponsor of “Women of Africa”, the event organized by the Sant’Egidio Community on the 7th of October at the Italian Embassy in London.
“Women of Africa” is an event that takes part in the program “DREAM” (Drug Resource Enhancement against AIDS and Malnutrition), sponsored by the Community of Sant’Egidio to give birth to a generation free from HIV-virus in Africa.
The evening was enlivened with the presence of wines Coda di Volpe and Greco di Tufo “Oltre” of Agricola Bellaria, appreciated by all the guests. Agricola Bellaria has enthusiastically participated in this important project with its own history and significant results: started in 2002, today DREAM is presented in ten African countries, involving all but 1,5 million guests and 250,000 of assistance.
Unfortunately many children in Africa are born from HIV-positive mothers but, thanks to DREAM, today there are thousands of healthy women who can contribute to the development of these communities.
Agricola Bellaria has chosen to bring its excellent wines to support an initiative spirit of “Woman of Africa”, not a separated event, but a series of regular meetings that this time has chosen London as the location, hence big cities have always been the heart of international affairs.
